To this end, the IASSW Capacity Building Committee provides Programme Consultations, supports the development and maintenance of Regional Resource Centres, and plans and implements regular capacity building workshops/conferences. II. Regional Resource Centres – Regional Resource Centres are established in various regions of the world to support the development of social work education in that region. Specifically, RRCs are established to
- develop and implement a regional strategy to provide high quality capacity building,
- lead research projects relevant to the region, and
- offer learning opportunities for academic staff and students in social work
