The tag line of “Leaving no one behind” has attracted many in the social sector towards debates and actions on Sustainable Development Goals. Social work being a practice based transdisciplinary profession, working towards SDGs is a natural response keeping the inclusive dimensions of the global goals. It is in this context, School of Social Work, Tata Institute of Social Sciences is organising a Roundtable Consultation and Public Lecture on Engaging with Sustainable Development Goals:Challenges and Responses of Social Work Practice on Monday 16 September 2019.
Prof. Annamaria Campanini, President of International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) will be the chief guest for the event. The Roundtable Consultation will start with faculty members from social work and related fields, research scholars and field practitioners in discussing their ideas, work, and other engagements with SDGs. This will be followed by the Public Lecture by Prof. Annamaria Campanini.
