Call for articles/contribution – Social Dialogue #28

Theme : Social Work, Social Development Goals and Global Sustainable DevelopmentSocial work aligns with the SDGs, especially in eradicating poverty, promoting gender equality, fostering social inclusion, and empowering communities. The magazine “Social Dialogue”, issue 28, will be focused on “What social work interventions are being used in various regions and nations that are in line with the SDGs and achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) globally. Professional social workers, academics, and students are invited to submit collaborative or independent articles on the following topics:

  1. SDG advancement through effective social work interventions across different regions and nations.
  2. The difficulties social workers have when putting interventions into reality to achieve the SDGs
  3. The chances for social workers to use their special knowledge and abilities to achieve the SDGs
  4. The consequences for social work practice and education to achieve the SDGs
  5. Identify geographical and cultural variables that can affect the implementation and efficacy of social work interventions to achieve the SDGs
  6. How might social work interventions contribute to developing a more just and equitable global society?
  7. What are the ways to better educate students for SDG engagement through social work education and practice?
  8. What are the possibilities for social workers to use their special knowledge and abilities to advance the SDGs, such as advocacy, community-based methods, and teamwork
  9. Consider the role of social work practice in achieving the SDGs and the field’s potential to be a leader in this area.
  10. Role of IASSW in promoting SDGs.
