New Publication: RIVISTA DI SERVIZIO SOCIALE (SW JOURNAL) – SPECIAL ISSUE

as homage to Prof. Annamaria Campanini on the occasion of her retirement from University of Milan Bicocca, Italy

After a long and prestigious career, from 1 November 2020, Professor Annamaria Campanini is retired due to having reached the age limit at the University of Milan Bicocca, even if her tireless commitment continues internationally. This event solicits a moment of homage and collective reflection and the “Rivista di Servizio sociale” respond to this need, through a monographic issue in which this reflection develops around the metaphor of “building bridges” (the special issue in Italian – abstracts in English – can be downloaded for free: https://logintest.webnode.com/_files/200004417-8c5688c56a/La%20Rivista%20di%20Servizio%20Sociale%20N.%201%20-%202020.pdf). A metaphor that wants to capture the profile of the dense networks of contacts developed by Campanini in Italy and abroad, but also the theoretical dimension, with particular but not exclusive reference to the development and dissemination of the systemic-relational model in the social work community. In both cases, the seeds planted by Campanini have been usefully generative in the academic world and in that of the social worker profession. The special issue of the RSS is made with original scientific contributions from university and colleagues who have been particularly significant in Campanini’s professional and human journey.
